DRINK | Bartender’s Soda Tip
Ten years before 7-Up came on the market, Bubble Up was the lemon-lime soda of choice. Created in 1919 in Sandusky, Ohio, Bubble Up had many owners and distributors until 2007, when it was bought by Hedinger Brands, LLC and licensed to The Dad's Root Beer Company, LLC.
Bartender Tom Richter, who is the creator of Tomr’s Tonic, likes it better than its competitor, “it’s still made with real cane sugar and it’s better balanced than 7-Up.”
