The Meat Hook/The Brooklyn Kitchen Labs: right now it's a butcher shop with some books to sell along with some housewares, pantry staples, and home-brewing equipment: one part store, one part construction sight.

They are putting in two kitchens for cooking classes.

I got a full tour from the extremely amiable Tom Mylan, the head butcher.

I have been a huge fan of both Marlow and Daughters and The Brooklyn Kitchen; this is place is shaping up to be potentially this gastronome's personal heaven.
