HOT AIR BALLOONING LUXOR
Hot air ballooning seems so iconic to me and I’ve always wanted to experience it. Getting to try it in Luxor, Egypt made it even better. Other than having to wake up at 5am, the entire process of watching the workers set up the balloons for take off is quite surreal! All the hustle and bustle is very exciting and then you jump and/or climb in to the big wicker basket, the jets are bursting hot air, your adrenaline is pumping and then it’s just peace! As soon as you’re 50 feet off the ground, it’s quiet and you’re amazed at the view of the Nile river and ruins all around you.
CAMEL RIDES AT GIZA
Camels are mean. They do not, I repeat, do not want to be your friend.

Assistant extraordinaire, Dave Weaver, realizing he remembered cameras but not water.
Mint tea is the perfect thing to sit down and relax with in the middle of this crazy market.
Such amazing curry!
