The Golden One

Glass:
Scotch Glass
Garnish: Frozen Chopped Pear Mixture
Ingredients
Cocktail
- 1 oz Glenmorangie Nectar D’Or
- 1/2 oz Barenjaeger
- 2 1/2 oz Pear Mixture
- Dash of Lemon Bitters
Pear Mixture
- 5 pears skinned and roughly chopped
- 1 bottle of German Riesling (Auslese)
- 1/2 cup of honey
Directions
Pear Mixture
1) Cook ingredients on a low simmer until pears become translucent.
2) While hot, strain through a chinois, but do not press.
3) Reserve the solids for the garnish.
4) After the pears have cooled, freeze them.
Cocktail
1) In a mixing glass add ingredients and ice.
2) Stir and strain into a scotch glass.
3) Garnish with frozen pear.
